The Intensive Therapy Centre Olinek is a professional, highly specialized centre providing complex and intensive rehabilitation of children, teenager and adults. We carry out: rehabilitation with the use of the Therasuit method for patients with motorial and neurological handicaps, individual sensory integration therapy, individual corrective gymnastics for patients with wrong posture schemes, additionally we offer a special hearing attention training – the Tomatis Therapy which stimulates brain functioning and promotes such specific functions as concentration, balance, language skills, it also relaxes and helps in foreign languages studies.

The Olinek Centre’s main aim is to improve life quality of the possibly largest number of our patients, either when it comes to their motorial abilities or to their psychological growth and internal balance. We strongly believe that only complex, individual approach to every person as a whole can lead to significant effects.

The Intensive Therapy Centre Olinek was founded in 2006 for parents by parents. It is child friendly and open for patients’ needs. At the Olinek Centre, in the first place there is always a patient. The therapy program is being individually adjusted to his needs. The Intensive Therapy Centre Olinek has been ideated and founded by Michał and Karina Leśniewscy – parents of a disabled girl named Ola. Miachał and Karina are always full of comprehension and ready to help. They know from their own experience all sort of problems which disabled children have to measure themselves against.

 

 

The Intensive Therapy Centre Olinek has a licence that authorizes medical use of the TheraSuit Method released by Therasuit LLC November 17th 2006. TheraSuit was patented in United States, U.S. Patent Application 10/269, 587. The Sensory Integration is carried out by therapists who have attended two grade Sensory Integration Course. Tomatis Therapy is conducted by therapists trained by Małgorzata Szurlej from Audio-psycho-fonologic Centre Espace in Warsaw. The therapists have certificates of the following trainings: PNF, Bobath, TheraBand, Kinesiotaping.

The Intensive Therapy Centre Olinek employs highly qualified and professional therapists, graduates of the best polish universities (Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Medical University of Warsaw). Our therapists constantly broaden their skills attending additional professional courses. The centre collaborates with dr. Szymon Pietrzak, orthopedic and traumatologic specialist who works in Hospital of Infantile Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Otwock. The Intensive Therapy Centre provides complex service for foreign clients realizing translations from and into English and Italian.
