The AtaxiTog System features a new design of the TheraTogs TankTop with long 'anchor flaps' that connect directly to the thigh and hip of the Hipster..
The anchor flap design offers three key advantages:Indications
The target population for AtaxiTog applications exhibits balancing difficulties relative to cerebellar dysfunction, without additional musculoskeletal problems.
The TheraTogs AtaxiTog system can be an effective modality for the management of balance problems in gait related to:

BRACHIAL PLEXUS INJURY (BPI) REHAB SUPPORT SYSTEM
Intended for application to a single shoulder and arm, and is designer to suport the clinical objectives of managing or correcting various postural, scapular, shoulder, elbow, and forearm malalignments.
The TankTop provides a stable, Velcro - sensitive surface area to attach strapping selected by the clinician to address scapular hypermobility and simple, mild shoulder subluxation. The Pelvic Anchor secures the TankTop against riding up, and increases Velcro-sensitive surface area for attaching postural alignment strapping.Indications/Applications

ANKLE DORSIFLEXION ASSIST SYSTEMS
The TheraTogs Ankle Dorsiflection Assist (DFA) System is designed to give clinicians a versatile, dynamic, and comfortable alternative to clumsy medical devices that are intended to address plantar fasciitis and calf muscle contracture.
The Dorsiflextion Assist System is available in three models:Gait Trainer System designed for clinical use, to allow the clinician to position the ankle and foot during therapy, and to preview the effects of an AFO with DF assist and a free ankle.
Sleeping System, designed for calf muscle contracture prevention or management. This system implements the well-known strategy of applying low-load, prolonged elongation to shortened or hyperactive muscle and soft tissues to promote physiologic adaptation.
Combination Systemincludes both the Gait Trainer and Sleeping systems.
Indications/Applications
The TheraTogs Ankle Dorsiflexion Assist System can be useful to persons exhibiting calf muscle contracture - or the potential to develop a contracture - in the presence of the following problems and diagnoses:
Benefits and Unique Features - Gait Trainer System
Simplicity.
This temporary DF-assist device is made of elasticized, foam-lined, comfortable components that are easy to apply in minutes. The DF assist strap attaches to a precut calf cuff and a durable, flexible, Velcro-sensitive shoe mount.
Training AssistanceThis system helps the user to experience improved ankle motion in gait without "taking over" for the DF musculature. The attending clinician can tune the DF-assist torque to accommodate changes in ankle function. Those clinicians who must manually assist their clients with foot clearance and placement while training on treadmills - with or without partial unweighting - will appreciate the usefulness of this helpful system.
Orthotic Evaluation.
If your client needs an AFO, and you're curious whether she/he is ready to use an articulated free ankle with a DF-assist joint, this system will provide the opportunity to preview the effectiveness of an orthotic device with those features.
Benefits and Unique Features - Sleeping System
Midtarsal Joint Support.
Midtarsal joint support is an essential component of foot deformity management, and comfort is essential to sleep. The Midtarsal Joint Support Strap can be applied to bias the foot position in favor of supination or pronation if those motions are readily available.
Calf Stretch.
The Forefoot DF Strap adds gentle, adjustable elongation to the calf musculature.
Midfoot Stabilization.
The 5-pronged DF Split Strap adds more midfoot stabilization while applying gentle elongation to the calf and toe flexion musculature and plantar fascia. The toes are supported against flexing in a cozy, adjustable wrap.
THERATOGS FULL BODY SYSTEM
The TheraTogs Full Body System was originally designed for children with complex neuromotor disorders. The first TheraTogs model developed and released, it was targeted at the client population with the most need and the most to gain: young, ambulatory children with functional alignment and mobility issues incedent to cerebral palsy and other CNS dysfunction.

The system is now available in a full range of sizes, and is the modality of choice to address a variety of neuromotor, postural, mobility, and balance issues.
The System wraps the torso and lower extremities in a Velcro-sensitive "strapping field" that allows the clinician to attach straps that can improve postural alignment and stability, and that can address the greatest variety of functional alignment and movement issues in the extremities proximal to the wrists and ankles.

THERATOGS LOWER EXTREMITY SYSTEM
The Lower Extremity System is designed to address alignment and functional deviations of the knee joints, developing femurs, and hip joints in an independently ambulatory child, and in an ambulatory adult with no problems related to hip or trunk stability.
Available in a full range of pediatric and adult sizes, the Lower Extremity System is a highly flexible modality for addressing leg rotation, ab/adduction, intoeing and out-toeing, and genu varum/valgum.Indications
ntoed gait, in a child < age 7 years, due to:
Applications
UPPER EXTREMITY SYSTEM FOR PEDIATRIC HEMIPLEGIA
The UE System for Pediatric Hemiplegia is designed for application to a single shoulder and arm, and to support the clinical objectives of managing or correcting various malalignments of the torso, scapula, shoulder, elbow, and forearm.
The TankTop provides a stable, Velcro(R)-sensitive surface area to attach strapping selected by the clinician. The Pelvic Anchor secures the TankTop against riding up, and increases the Velcro(R)-sensitive surface area for attaching postural alignment strapping.
Indications/Applications
SENSORY INTEGRATION/SPD SYSTEM
The Sensory Integration / Sensory Processing Disorder (SI/SPD) System provides the compressive type of proprioceptive input that has been shown to help children with SI dysfunction or SPD issues. The SI/SPD System Provides: The cozy, foam-lined, breathable TankTop applies gentle compression to the torso to enhance tactile and proprioceptive body awareness.
The similarly cozy Hipster provides more body awareness of the hips and thighs, and serves as an anchor for securing the TankTop and for attaching compression straps if further "grounding" is needed.
An abdominal support and "clip" strap that holds the compression straps against the body.
Indications / Applications
The SI/SPD System is designed specially for children with issues related to Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD, such as hypersensitivity, difficulty in focusing attention, holding still, and coordinating movement.
ADULT SHOULDER POSITIONING SYSTEM
The Adult Shoulder Positioning System is designed to support the clinical objectives of managing or correcting various postural, scapular, and shoulder mal-alignments while leaving the elbow and forearm unconfined.
The Shoulder Positioning System is designed for application to a single shoulder.
The TankTop provides a stable, Velcro(R)-sensitive surface area to attach strapping selected by the clinician to address scapular hypermobility, shoulder protraction, and moderate shoulder subluxation.
The long Torso Strap provides an alternative anchor for strapping applications when the TankTop is not needed.Indications
THERATOGS WRIST & THUMB POSITIONING
The Wrist & Thumb Positioning System is the most versatile and flexible system of its kind. Prescribe it as a stand-alone functional alignment aide, or use it to extend a TheraTogs strapping application from the shoulder or elbow to the hand. The hook-sensitive wrist and thumb unit comes in Pediatric (S, M-L) and Adult (S, M, L) sizes for either the left or right hand. Made of the same foam-backed material as our TheraTogs garments, the Wrist &Thumb Positioning System is both comfortable and effective in supporting and maintaining joint position gains that are available with manual correction.
Indications/Objectives
If you can correct wrist and thumb alignment with your hands, without force, you can use TheraTogs to carry over that correction - positioning your client's day-long activities in corrected functional alignment.
